A Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) delegation is in Ethiopia for a benchmarking visit aimed at fostering economic ties between Ethiopia and Uganda.
The delegation is led by the Chairman of the UIA Board, Dr. Robert Kyamanywa, and includes members of the Board and Management.
The delegation has engaged with the Ethiopian Investment Commission and the Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation during which they were provided with updates on Ethiopia’s ongoing macroeconomic reforms designed to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
During their visit, the Ugandan delegation also conducted field visits to industrial parks to gain firsthand knowledge of Ethiopia’s industrial park development model and its operational practices.
