🚛 Pipeline & Distribution

A 211 km multi-product pipeline will transport refined petroleum products from Hoima to the Namwambula Storage and Distribution Terminal in Mpigi District.

Passing through Hoima, Kikuube, Kyankwanzi, Kiboga, Wakiso, and Mpigi, the pipeline will ensure efficient nationwide fuel distribution. The terminal, to be managed by Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), will supply downstream oil marketing and distribution companies.

🏭 Driving Industrialisation

Beyond producing fuel for the domestic market, the refinery will provide feedstock for the planned Kabalega Petro-based Industrial Park, enabling the manufacture of products such as plastics, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and other petrochemicals, creating greater value from Uganda’s petroleum resources.
