Toyota Uganda on 15th June 2016 launched a new generation 2016 Toyota Hilux and a Toyota fortuner. The launch took place at the Kampala Industrial and Business park. (Namanve). Uganda Investment Authority Director in charge of Lands Development, Mr Hamza Galiwango, assured Toyota officials that the Government of Uganda recognizes Toyota as one of the leading tax payers and as one of the major companies that have provided employment to Ugandans, as well one that has encouraged innovation through its initiatives.
